About me
Hi, I am Jack.
I graduated from UC San Diego in June 2026 with a B.S. in Data Science. My background is rooted in data analysis, modeling, and software development. My work sits at the intersection of data, software engineering, and applied AI. I am interested in agentic applications and AI engineering, designing systems that can reason over complex information, automate repetitive processes, and help teams make better decisions. I enjoy working closely with people to understand how organizations operate, identify workflow bottlenecks, and build software solutions that turn messy data and operational needs into reliable, useful tools and automation.
I am currently an AI Analyst Intern at Immix Biopharma, where I work on production-grade agentic automation projects in biotech industry. Previously, I worked as a Data Engineer Intern at Boundary Remote Subsurface Solutions, where I built data pipelines to automate geospatial data ingestion with AWS infrastructure, and as a Software Engineer Intern at Green Optic Films, where I developed surgical video analysis software to support medical research. In addition, I served as an Instructional Assistant at UC San Diego for core Data Science courses (DSC 190, DSC 40B, DSC 80, MATH 173A), helping students navigate key theoretical concepts and practical applications in data science and statistics.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, road trips, hiking, fishing, and exploring good food around San Diego and Los Angeles.
